Department of Labor and Employment Secretary Baldoz urged all private sector employers to pay proper wages to workers.
Secretary Baldoz said the following pay rules will apply on Monday and Tuesday next week, both regular holidays:
- If unworked, the employee is entitled to 100 percent of his or her regular daily rate, provided he or she was present or was on leave with pay on the workday immediately preceding the holiday.
