World Kindness Day 2009
Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful citizens can change the world. Indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.- Anthropologist Margaret Mead
Do you see yourself as citizen of your country or of the world?
You may be proud of your country but, don’t you think you must be more proud if you care for the whole world? It’s high time to make our way of thinking globally and not just thinking about what’s happening withing your region. A time everyone began thinking more about others and less about themselves.
World Kindness Day is about being kind to the world. The basic principle behind is acknowledging that we have a connection with every living thing on this wonderful planet of ours.
Let’s rededicate ourselves to change the world one act of kindness at a time. Together we are creating a more peaceful, just and sustainable world through kindness.

Wow, that was a good read. Thanks for the reminders!
How true, we need more kind people nowadays. If each one of us performed a kind act everyday, then what a better world it would be, Best regards.
There is no doubt that if each of us did our part in trying to make this world a better place to live by showing kindness to one another on a daily basis, then it would definitely be better. We need to be reminded at times that life is not about us, but about everyone. Being kind is a wonderful attribute but loving one another unconditionally is where the BIG difference will be seen among humankind. Are we ready to make that commitment as well? I am! How about you?
Friends 4 Life!
I love the idea of performing one act of kindness a day. It certainly makes the day a better place.
